Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us delete it. Written to be read, not to be scrolled past.

Before you publish: replace [BUSINESS ADDRESS] and [STATE] below with your registered details, have someone qualified read it over, then delete this box. This is a solid starting draft, not legal advice.

This policy covers kingdomculture.co, operated by Kingdom Culture Co. ("we", "us"). Contact us any time at hello@kingdomculture.co or [BUSINESS ADDRESS].

What we collect

When you buy something

Name, shipping and billing address, email, phone if you give it, and what you ordered. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor — they never touch our servers and we never see the full number.

When you join the list

Your email address, and the fact that you opted in, with a timestamp. That's it.

When you browse

Aggregate, non-identifying analytics: pages viewed, rough referrer, device type, and country. We use privacy-focused analytics that doesn't set advertising cookies or build a profile of you across sites.

When you email us

Whatever you write, so we can answer it and refer back if you write again.

Why we collect it

  • To fill orders — send the parcel, handle returns, prevent fraud.
  • To email you, if you asked us to. Drops, restocks, the occasional verse.
  • To understand the shop — which designs get looked at, so we print the right ones.
  • To meet our obligations — tax and accounting records we're required to keep.

Who we share it with

Only companies that help us run the shop, and only what they need:

  • Payment processor — to take payment securely
  • Shipping carriers — to deliver your parcel
  • Email platform — to send the newsletter you signed up for
  • Analytics provider — aggregate traffic data only

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We'll hand over data if a valid legal order requires it, and we'll tell you unless we're legally barred from doing so.

Cookies

We use the minimum: a cookie to remember what's in your bag, and one to keep you signed in if you create an account. Our analytics is cookieless. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking pixels, which is why you won't see a consent wall on this site.

How long we keep it

Order records for seven years, because tax law says so. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Email conversations for two years. Analytics is aggregated and holds nothing that identifies you.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable format. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe in the footer.

If you're in California, the CCPA gives you the rights above plus the right not to be discriminated against for using them — no worse pricing, no degraded service. If you're in the UK or EU, the GDPR gives you the same rights plus the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Email hello@kingdomculture.co and we'll action it within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so we don't hand your data to someone else.

Children

This shop isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor, and access to order data is limited to the people who pack the orders. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects you, we'll tell you promptly and directly.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we'll email anyone on the list before it takes effect.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States.
